TIME SENSITIVE ISSUE: Cloning to RAID-0 Array
Hello all,
I am on a business trip and have managed many of these projects, but didnt realize I may run into this issue..
First of it is a Dell Poweredge SC1430 with a PERC5I Raid Card.
The client currently has 4 x 1tb drives in 2 separate RAID-0 arrays giving 2 x 2tb HDD's showing. <---the problem
The goal is 4 x 2tb drives in RAID-1 showing the same as it used to show in windos server 2003.
I cloned the first array to a 2tb drive, plugged in 2 new 2tb hard drives, started cloning from the imaged hdd which is plugged into the raid card as well to the new RAID-1 array, and estimated time is 2 days!! Any other cloning method to make this go faster??
I have a deadline of monday, and i have to do the same procedure for the other array! that is a total of 4 days that i do not have.
Any suggestions!?
Thank you very much
Ricky
