i had to ask, i notice that your notebook specs state a 3.2GHz,533fsb processor@ 3.4GHz,800fsb. How did you achieve this? BIOS setting, and if so, which bios are you using..
Well with my brother nothing is impossible. he managed to reconfigure my bios and other stuff like the cpu multiplier so that my cpu ran at 3.4ghz. he also completely redesigned my Case to allow better cooling and installed another fan in there somewhere. he was going to attempt to push it to 3.6ghz but i drew the line and said it would probably kill my processor
i am really interested in this mod. Do you think your brother would able to point me in the right direction? All i need is to change my multiplier from x24 to x16 which would give me a FSB of 800mhz.
yeah i will try and ask my brother what he did and maybe he can send my a modded bios or something like that. I noticed in your sig that you have a 5100 running a prescott. what i would like to know is how to got a 3.2ghz 1mb prescott running in a 5100

Hi egoneo,
i have a i5160 motherboard in my i5100 case. With a mod to the heat shield, everything works fine.
