How To Convert HD From NTSF To FAT32?

Question

Hello   I just bought a Inspiron 1100 Laptop and I cant format my HD coz It NTSF I put in the MS-DOS Floppy Disk in the a:   and is give me a error message about the HD is not FAT/FAT32   Can ANyone help me asap thx

You should be able to FDISK and then format, but why would you want to do that unless you are installing Win98 or ME? Allen T.

put the XP disk in the drive and boot from it- during the reinstall it will allow you to reformat.
