Hello,

128 megabytes of ram is fine but your cpu is abit on the slow side. I would look on Ebay for a 266MHz or 300MHz Pentium II cpu and swap it out. There are plenty of DVD drives on Ebay, good for games, music, apps, etc. Jerry

is that easy to do? my uncle works on computers so I think he could do it for me. Whats the average price on those?

Hello,

They range in price, average around $20.00 with shipping. You need the MMC-1 type. The keyboard comes off with six screws. The heatsink comes off with two screws. The cpu board assy comes off with three screws, board plugs in, no soldering needed. You will need to flash the bios in order to use the PII cpu versus the PI chip. I will send another post tonight with the bios attachment. Jerry
