Dimension 8400 Reinstall of Windows XP

Question

I wiped my RAID configuration on accident.  Now as far as the system is concerned I have to 160 GB SATA drives that windows setup can't see.  I download the Intel Raid utility, and put it on a floppy disk.  I choose F6 at the windows install initial screen, and load the RAID driver into the setup.  It then continues to setup windows.  It copies the files, and and gets through the GUI setup.  When it reboots to go into windows for the first time, I get a Blue screen with this message  STOP: 0x0000007B   I'm assuming this is becuase post setup, windows doesn't recognize my drives.  So now I have windows installed on a drive, that it can't see, and when I boot I lost my RAID configuration tool (ctl-a or whatever it was).  I want this to be a regular windows installation on a RAID 1 setup.  Can someone help me?

No windows XP sp1. I don't want SP2 on the station.

I had a similar situation when attempting to do a clean install of Windows XP Pro SP2, but my 160 GB disks are configured as RAID 0. If I build the Intel driver diskette from the Resource CD, then I get a 0x000007B blue screen after installing them. However, if I let WinXP use its own built-in copy of the drivers (which are slightly older), then everything works fine.

do you know if the same drivers on the SP2 disk are on the SP1 cd?   Also, I don't have a RAID config right now.  When it wiped, I even lost the ctl-a or whatever option when the system booted up, to get in and configure the RAID.
