I had a similar situation when attempting to do a clean install of Windows XP Pro SP2, but my 160 GB disks are configured as RAID 0. If I build the Intel driver diskette from the Resource CD, then I get a 0x000007B blue screen after installing them. However, if I let WinXP use its own built-in copy of the drivers (which are slightly older), then everything works fine.
do you know if the same drivers on the SP2 disk are on the SP1 cd?
Also, I don't have a RAID config right now. When it wiped, I even lost the ctl-a or whatever option when the system booted up, to get in and configure the RAID.
