715N Installation

I recently picked up a PowerVault 715N at a local fleamarket.. But it needs to have the O/S re-installed. Does anyone know where I could get a copy of the CD's? The server is version 1.1.

Transfer the ownership with the service tag number and contact dell. Or ask someone here to burn the disk...as long as you had the COA sticker on the unit...I would think that wouldnt be breaking the law because those are merely disks without licenses...the units usually ship with the license assigned to them...OEM I believe. But Dell should know this. Thanks

I'm at square one and seek assistance...

Like other posters, I obtained a used unit without drives or support software...

I'm looking for the ISOs for the 715N Systems Reinstallation & Systems Resource CDs, ver. 1.1

Others have offered to host these files; I can't locate them; I've sent e-mail to some posters but have heard nothing...

Please point me in the right direction.

(--from a small struggling company, hoping to join the big boys one day & afford top-end Dell equipment)

Like ejeckert mentioned, get the system transferred to your name (with Dell) (search for 'transfer of ownership' here on the support site).

Once this is done, you can call Dell and they can assist at that time.

To transfer ownership does take some time, and you do need information about who you bought it from (this person/company should be the current registered owner).

I have the same problem I need to reinstall this kind of server but i dont have the cd's if anyone have the ISO's or links or something wher i can download those I were very thankfull.
