New Inspiron 6000 needs TSSTcorp CDRW/DVD TSL462CD Drivers - not in downloads :O

Ack, looks like I posted this in the wrong forum.  Sry!  Feel free to delete or ignore!   ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Formatted and put win2k on new laptop.  Am working on getting all the drivers for the 'unknown devices'  Almost done, 2 to go.   Lovely how I get a new laptop cant find the driver update for my cdrw/dvd drive.  Still one unknown pci device after this... lol.  Guess I'm just a noob. :smileywink:   Any help appreciated. hi you can update the bios of the notebook and then see if this works make sure that you select the operating system as whats on your notebook while updating the bios

I suspect that your unknown PCI device is going to be your SD card reader. I am not sure where you will find a suitable driver as when using XP the required driver is inbuilt into sp2.
