I want to BUY a dell computer, but there is no information about what type of hard drives are offered. What type of hard drive would I get if I bought a inspiron notebook?
One that works in that system. Does the type matter that much if it's the right size for your needs and it works in the system you are buying.
In any event it will be a 2.5" wide (actually 2.75" wide) by 9.5mm high IDE drive with a rotational speed of either 4200 or 5400 RPM. Although some of the newer 7200 RPM drives are becoming available.
