D810 (HD) very slow after reinstall

Question

Hi, After I had to reinstall my WindowsXP Prof. at my Latitude 810 everything is very slow. Programs need a lot of time to start, the screen is displayed slowly from the top to the bottom when I switch the windows, and sometimes even the start-menue needs several seconds before it’s shown. And everytime the harddisk is working and clattering a long time.   Do I need a special controller-driver? I installed all drivers in the order, that was told me by the support. The HD is running at DMA5 It is defragmented. RAM is about 200MB free.   The Disk is a Fujitsu MHT2060AH (60GB, 5400rpm, 8MB Cache). Thanks for help, blubb

Video card driver is likely missing. even though the screen doesn't exhibit 16-bit color of the days of Windows 98 and 2000. If you Click on Start Turn Off one of the buttons (stand by) might be greyed out.

I don't know what driver might be needed but I think that these come with ATI X300, right?
