Can you fill in the following?

Operating System -
OpenManage Server Administrator Version -
PowerEdge Server Model -
Existing BIOS Version on PowerEdge Server -
Version of BIOS you are attempting to upgrade to -

And answer these questions:

1.  Are you doing the upgrade from OpenManage Server Administrator?

2.  Are you accessing the OpenManage Server Administrator locally or remotely from a different system?

3.  Is the drive that you have the BIOS update package on a local drive or is it a mapped network drive/mounted share?

That sounds like a plausible reason.  I am unable to use AD integration because I have LM authentication disabled on my domain.

I guess I will just use the local admin account.

I get the same error message when I run updates under our main admin account for our network but it works if I create a local account and give admin access to this account.

Does anybody know why? Our main admin account is a member of local administrators through out our forest. Could it be because I am not checking the "active directory login" checkbox when you first login to IT Assistant. I always get a failed login message whever I do that.

Thx!
