Suggestion, download from the Dell download section for the 8300 the serial ata raid controller driver and have it on floppy, install one hard drive, the raptor, install os and as soon as it starts you'll be prompted to hit F6 and that floppy you just made, after os install SP 2, then the Dell chipset driver, then sound and video drivers, then all other drivers off the resourse cd, also have all printers, scanners, modem unhooked during install. Once that drive is fully set up move to the next one format and partition it and so on. Good luck on your quest and i hope this helps.
