Every day I have 1GB less free space. I ran sfc /scannow once and the memory returned but it kept going down. I've tried sfc /scannow again but its not doing anything. How can I fix this memory balck hole. Can someone help before I have no memory left at all.  I've downloaded a few programs that search for spyware and viruses but they come up with nothing. I have a Dimnsion 3000 and I'm running Windows XP.

could it be the system restore creating a new system restore point?
