I've used Western Digital, Hitachi and Seagate drives with no problems.  The one you highlighted should work fine.

When choosing a brand/model harddrive, just look at the warranty that the manufacturer offers. Maxtor drives get a 1, 3 or 5 year warranty depending on the model (but it seems that most retail drives in stores somehow just are the 1yr warranty drives), Western Digital also has some drives with a 1 year warranty, some with a 3 year warranty and a few with a 5 year warranty (Raptor-series). Hitachi gives 3 years on all drives I believe, and Seagate gives 5 years on all drives. (This statement is only for ATA/SATA drives and excludes SCSI/FC drives and laptop drives).

The warranty isn't a guarantee, but the way I look at it is that it reflects the faith that the manufacturer has in their product. I'd stick with drives that carry a 5 year warranty just for peace of mind. Personally I like Seagate (ATA/SATA) drives; they're fast, fairly quiet and in my experience I haven't seen one fail in the last 5 to 10 years.
