The hardware is different between the two systems so it will not boot up off the old OS HD.
Best you could do is install the drive as a second drive and copy the data you need from it to the new 9150 HD. Any programs you have on the old system would have to be re-installed.
An operating system is a fragile thing that tries to make sure the programs it has installed can work properly together and with the equipment it is attached to.
Due to the incredible variety of hardware components available, the unlimited number of ways they can be assembled together, and the staggering complexity of the software they run... it is best not to upset the apple cart.
An OS can adapt to the removal of some peices of equipment and the addition of others ... but you can't yank out the guts, heart, and soul and throw in a jumble of different dissimilar parts and expect a miracle. An OS is kinfa like both a map and tour guide. Pick it up and put it in a new city on the other side of the world (with the wrong map) and that's gonna be one messed up tour.
