I8000 - Need slim fixed drive upgrade!

Question

I currently have a Toshiba drive that does the following: 24X CD-ROM Read 4X CD-R Write 6X DVD Read I think its the SD-2002 model (something like that). Anyways, its dying, and I might as well put something faster in there. Any suggestions? I'm assuming any slim drive will work.. or will it? I'd need to use the pull tab frame from this one. I'm looking on eBay. Any thoughts would be great. I don't necessarily need the fastest DVD burner as I have external Plextor burners, but something good for the price.
