You'll need to provide more info.  Since the old drive was the boot drive, how did you install a 2nd drive?  Why did you install a 2nd drive (were there issues with the old drive)?  Did you install XP on the new drive, and if so did you switch the cables?

Thanks for your reply, reason I added a new drive was to add more storage for my music and other files, there was nothing wrong with the original drive, just needed more room...I ended up cloning my original drive and transfering it to new drive and now working just fine...the original drive was repartitioned and formatted using NTSF and now will use as storage for my music, both drives are working just fine now but thanks for your reply and if ever I run into any trouble, know I'll be back. Again, thanks.
