Once you install the other OS, the boot sector will be modified and the Dell/Symantec quick restore will no longer function.

Ok!

I Will restore with PC Restore (To have an empty Windows Partition) and I will make an image and restore the image when I want to get all back-> When I will install Linux

But If I make a new windows partition, PC Restore will work or I need to make an image for that?

Thanks (that my last question!)

As above, PC Restore DEPENDS ON THE AS-SHIPPED BOOT SECTOR. Anything you do to the boot sector will DEACTIVATE the restore feature.

Ok:smileysad:

But if when I install the other OS I keep the PC Restore In the boot list (Linux have a list with all OS , I can run windows or Linux when I boot). If I run it, I will get all back(Windows+Drivers)?

It possible to burn PC Restore on a CD???

No to the former; once you install the other OS, the CTRL-F11 PC restore won't function.

No also to burning the file to a CD unless you purchase a copy of an imaging program such as Symantec Ghost 10+ or Acronis TrueImage that can read it.
