Where can I find a replacement cd burner?

I have a Dimension 8200 pc which came with a cd burner.  The burner no longer works properly (will not always read a cd).  I have called Dell to try to get a replacement and am told that the only one they have is refurbished.  After having nightmare experiences with 'refurbished' Pocket DJ's I really don't want another refurbished product.  Any suggestions on where to go to replace my burner?

Your system can use any standard IDE drive.  Check www.newegg.com .You may want to consider a DVD burner.

Plextor and Sony are the best for the buck, now days you might as well get a dvdrw drive and burn anything. They cost about the same.. I live by Plextors. Goodluck
