If you used a hard drive manufacturer's software to copy old to new, or a product like Norton Ghost, everything should work fine.

You can't just do a regular copy.

I did use the kit provided as instructed. As if I said most files work fine the restore file are there I just cannot get the program to start. I originally got instructions to restart of which I did several times with no change. And now when I run: restore, the restore files open up where the short cut to restore is along with restorlog, sr-shglog, srframe, srdiag, sr-reg, sr-rp, sr-chglog.

When I click on the restore short cut I get the error message.

I don't know what "kit" you used, but clearly it didn't work properly.

If you explain what "kit" you are referring to, perhaps we can provide some insight into what didn't work right.  Any software designed to copy old to new should work 100%.  Yours didn't.  Therefore, there is something wrong with the process.
