My Computer is in a bad way.......HELP!!

Question

I have a Dell Dimension DIM2400 Intel(R) To make this short, I have done a scan on my computer to see what is wrong and this list of things are what came up as missing or whatever. In Device Manager, there are no drivers listed, and there is no audio (no audio installed) according to my search in the computer. I have tried to restore, virus check (no viruses), no spyware, what else can I do? don't understand...what exactly is wrong or not working with your pc?

Audio is not working, no drivers are listed in device manager. On boot up it says that the primary service drive is missing.

still not quite sure what is happening from your description, but you may also want to post over in the Dimension form as thisis the XPS forum.  In the mean time, it would help to know if this problem(s) happened in relation to adding or changing some software or hardware item.  Can you get into safe mode (f8) on boot?  List the exact message of the error(s) you get, if you can.  Did you do anything in the bios?

and when you say there are no drivers in device manager, do you mean for the audio?  Do you have an audio card installed?  If so, you need to turn off the onboard audio in the bios.  If no external audio card is installed, then you need to turn on the onboard audio in the bios.
