Dell Inspiron 8600 NEC ND-6500A! Problem with 16xDVDs! HELP!!!!

Cant write 16x-DVD's!(Sony, TDK,...) The new Firmwareupdate 203d is already installed!! But the file did not repair the problem! What can i do?

I have no problems with x16 Verbatim dvd-r disks.

I have only ever used verbatim but other folk have posted similiar problems to yourself when using another make of x16 dvd media.
