XPS RAID

Question

Hello, This is a general XPS RAID question but more so pertains to the XPS 700. If I configure a XPS 700 with 1 SATA drive, can I later go to RAID 0 or RAID 1? I imagine the hard drive controller supports it, it's probably just a toggle in the BIOS, but I want to verify ;) Thanks!

You can, but if you then want a single large RAID 0 partition, you'll need a third party utility or to start over (reformat/reinstall) so be sure you get the XP CD with the system.

Oh, of course. I would completely wipe the system and install fresh if I went from 1 drive to 2 drives (either RAID config). THANKS!
