Thanks for the info bev it wil be alot of help. One question though, will F-disk work on my file system? When i installed windows xp i changed it to a ntsf file system.

You should be able to use the Dell WMe reinstallation CD to partition and format the hard drive,

Ok, i do have a copy of kill disk once i run that do i still run the boot disk or do i now need something else? And can i still use the reinstall disk of windows me that came with my computer?
