Help with Dimension E510 - nothing happens when I turn it on

I have a brand new (3 weeks) Dimension E510.  I was online and trying to print something.  Everything froze up during the print job.  I was able to cancel the print job from the printer, but the computer never 'unfroze', so I turned it off.  When I turned it back on the reboot, nothing happened.  The power light on both the monitor and the hard drive are on.  I have unhooked everything and redone it, but still nothing is happening.  I even unhooked everthing and reconnected the cables one at a time in case there was a short in one of them....bought a new monitor to computer cable too, just in case it was that one.  The power light on the front of the hard drive has numbers one through 4 on it, but only numbers 2 and 4 are lit up.  I don't know what the lights that aren't on pertain too, but I am guessing this is causing the problem.  Any thoughts???

It is not the lights which are off which indicate the problem. It is the lights which are on. As the computer goes through its Power On Self Test (aka POST), it turns various combinations of lights on and off to show what it was doing.   The 2 and 4 lights being on is symptomatic of a graphics card problem. Since the machine is so new, get in touch with Dell for some warranty service.   You may not even have a graphics card. It would then be a mother board problem.
