Have you tried uninstalling them in Device Manager and rebooting so Windows finds the hardware and installs drivers for them? This can sometimes clear these "drive not found" issues. If that fails, check in the BIOS to ensure they are being recognized at the BIOS level.
They were not listed in the Device Manager. I checked the boot sequence in the BIOs and it said the cd rom was not installed. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.
