VxD's consuming too much stack space?

Question

Have Dimension L800R P3, 40Gb HD, 128mb ram with WinME, bone stock - no add-ons, 3yrs old. Suspected virus, ran a debug from DOS, then fdisk, them reformat & loaded all orig. O/S & applications back on w/the exception of Norton Anti-virus. Then went to Microsoft and loaded all updates (lots). Then loaded Norton and did live update to get all virus definitions (lots). Worked OK at first, then booted up this am and when I went to start button I rec'd the following msg (white letters on blue background). 'Terminating thread due to stack overflow problem. A VxD, possible recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the setting of 'MinSPs'in the SYSTEM.INI or remove recently installed VxD's. There are currently 5 SP's allocated'. What happened here & what can I do about it? Help!!!!!!!

Very cool... thanks so much for the info. I tried it (took all of a minute) and it appears to have done the trick. I'll post again to give a definate, but so far so good. Thanks again for your help....
