Sorry, but instead of just ordering the case mentioned above, I tried to find a cheaper one.  Since I knew nothing about what I was ordering, I ordered the wrong kind.  I was then wayyyyyyy too lazy to order another and simply had Dell replace my hard drive since I was still under warranty.  I wish I could be of more help.

Thanks for ur response.  So finally you didn't recover your data from your old hard disk?
