Is the drive shown in bios setup?  If not, did you remember to removed the card edge adapter from the old drive and put it on the new drive?
 
To remove the card edge adapter from the old drive pull off as straight as possible without rocking back and forth.  If you do that too much the pins will be bent and make it difficult to mount in an external enclosure in the event you wish to recover data from it.  To put it on the new drive, make sure that the blank spot in the pin side of the connector is facing the missing pin on the new drive before you try to push it on.

The C610 will use a 100gb for sure and maybe a 120gb. I sold one on Ebay with a 100gb and no complaints from the buyer
