When you say "updated the driver", do you mean the firmware? Please check your DMA setting. With regard to GEARaspi, do you use any GEAR software? This might be disabled if you installed and packet writing programs, such as Sonic DLA.

Yes, I updated the firmware.
I really do not know what software was the one installed.
Is there a way to identify the installed Gear software?

HI,
an Update I ran  a I test on my drive through the Boot Utility partition from the Diagnostic Menu, but now not only on the driver but the complete thest for the DVD having a DVD in the drive and it sent me this error:
 
Error Code 650F:131D
 
do you know what it means?

You cannot use a DVD disc to run the diagnostic. It must be a data CD (not CD-R, not audio CD).

Hi, I did the test with a data cd (dell installation cd) then with a music cd
and this is the error it send me.
 
Error Code 650F:131D
Msg Block 392 Illegal request.
 
Now I Cineplayer recognizes the dvd but when I click play it sends a black screen and goes back to the play menu.
