You're going to have to compromise. There are plenty of 120G 5400 rpm EIDE notebook drives. The largest widely-avaialble 7200 EIDEs are 100G - the 160 and up notebook drives are all SATA, which won't work in your system.

www.newegg.com has the WD 120G 5400s for $75. The 100G Seagate and Hitachi 7200s go for about $90.

It'll work, but it's not a 7200 rpm drive - it's 5400.

I read somewhere that ST9160821A this model from Seagate is compatible with I6000 since it is ATA-6. Can you please verify? I really want the 160GB since I wish to put Vista, XP, 2000 and Ubuntu on it.
