I am 20% of the full problem. First I should talk about is that the CD reader works. But still it says that this an upgrade program, consequently when press burn cd's and dvd's it does nothing now. The images are gray and they don't work. The record now audio, the record now copy and the record now data, don't work. The creator home does not either.
The Regedit does not have the option to
unistall them. How can I unistall them? I have been trying to do this forever. I am stumped. Do you mean the
Regedit? Or "
the device manager?" what is the device manager?
I tried it and it brings me to the old message. I think I need to go to device mgr and wipe out the roxio settings but I don't see a uninstall part.
Why? As a matter of fact most entries in there don't have the uninstall part. What does Dell do to its regedit? How can you unistall something that has not an
unistall part?
I try to remember something I read, that something else uninstalls them but I don't remember where I read it. Can you help?
Well I found it. BUT the problem is that all those programs they DON'T have an unistall option. That is the problem. Some of the have the
change remove some
don't.

There is a hotfix available for download HERE (clicking this link will start the download).
Make sure you shut down all Roxio/Sonic programs, then run this. You should not need to reboot.
