Any 2.5", 9.5 mm parallel ATA drive will work fine, 120 G or smaller. SATA drives are not supported.

I found this on the Dell site,

Would this be compatible?

Your best bet would be to call Spare Parts at 1-800-357-3355, give them your service tag and tell them you need to purchase a replacement drive for your system. They can match hard drives directly with systems that are compatible.

Hi,
Does the same apply to an Inspiron 5150 ?
I have a 60 Gb HD which is getting smaller, I would like to replace it with a new larger one, 120Gb would be fine, and Ideally being able to use both, one as main, the other as back-up. Do you know if this is possible ?
Thanks !

Virtually any part for any Dell system can be ordered through Spare Parts, jsut give them the service tag or the express service code and they can look up your customer account information and match what hard drives, etc are designed to work in that model system
