The item you are looking for is called a 2nd Harddrive Module and it will work with any standard 9.5mm Laptop Harddrive unjumpered and lying Circuit board side up. They are usually available empty on Ebay, but be sure the seller specifies screws included. Dell has them, but they come with the drive installed. Since you already have the drive***** It will indeed work in the Media Bay or the bay on a C/Dock. 

I looked on Dell's software and peripheals, and they only have one CMS 80gb Module Bay Harddrive with the right type module at close to $400. They have 3 others of smaller capacity, but the module type is wrong. There is only one empty with screws on Ebay at present; # 3455412229.

Thanks again for the info.  I appreciate your help and research.  I'm thinking that the most cost effective option is getting the hard drive from Dell, and then getting the additional component from eBay.

I bought one of the empties off Ebay and there were a lot of them listed then. I guess the supply has been dried up or depleted since then; the one I cited was the only one I could find. Ran across this offer;link follows:
