Hello JenCA, It would be helpful if we knew how many drives total you have on your system. If we knew, you could enter the BIOS and disable any ports that do not have any drives connected to them and enable any ports that have drives connected to them. It may be just as simple as that. To enter the BIOS and check, just press F2 and arrow key down to drives. They will be listed on the right. Hope this helps.
OK, the following is listed under drives and in parenthesis is it's status: Diskette Drive (Internal), Drive 0 (On), Drive 1 (Off), Drive 2 (Off), Drive 3 (Off), Drive 4 (Off), Drive 5 (Off). Thanks so much!

Hi, Jen:
I believe 4 and 5 are your optical drives. Both of those should be turned on.
