Internet

I have laptop inspiron 1545 & want to connect internet , speed is showing 115 kbps but web page can't open ( send & receiving report showing send 0 kb & receive 0 kb ) , i have lot of tries but failed , some said to install new window , some said there is virus .  before it was working properly & antivirus was apdating daily . can some one to giude me for this problem ( what about install new window ) .
