Studio XPS 435T crashing when uploading video to YouTube
This happens using IE 8 and Firefox 3, using both the Flash and non-Flash uploader tools.
Also, my system's reliability index (in Windows's Reliability and Performance Monitor) has plummeted to a dismal 2.78 in the month and a half that I've had it. Since day #1, my machinge logs Event 10, WMI at least once a day. There log entry reads as follows:
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
Could this be leading to my Youtube crashes? The machine is otherwise stable.

See THIS which suggests it may be a RAM problem.
There is usually a Diagnostic partition on the hard drive, usually accessed by F12 at boot up. Run a complete hardware diagnostic and see if it shows up anything. You could also reseat the memory modules (Reseat - with the PC powered off, remove each memory module then reinstall - CAUTION only handle memory modules by their edges).

After following the troubleshooting steps presribed by Dell tech support (and yours), I've ruled out bad hardware, drivers, etc. I've isolated the issue more. My problem, in a nutshell, is that my new Vista 64 machine can't copy/move files to my networked Win XP SP2 machine or upload files to YouTube (regardless of web browser) without causing a total system freeze requiring a hard reset with the Power button. I can, however, copy/move files to the Vista machine from the XP one. In other words, on my wireless home network, Vista 64 only receives inbound files and won't allow outbound file transfer.
I thought disabling Windows Firewall would let the files past, but that didn't help. I'm using McAfee Security Center provided by AT&T. Disabling those services through MSCONFIG didn't help either, regardless of whether Windows Firewall was running or not.
This sucks! Any additional insights from the forum are greatly appreciated!
