Dell Studio XPS 13 1340 Coprocessor Driver

Does anyone know what the coprocessor is for this computer? I look under device manger and it said the device drivers are not installed but it doesn't tell me know kind of device it is? Just said coprocessor, other devices, mfg unknown and location PCI bus 0, device 3, function 5. Windows 7 was not able to locate it either.

Thanks.

Install nvidia MCP79 Chipset driver found on Dell's driver download page.  I have a question for you btw, I have the exact system as you and have had issues since upgrading to Windows 7, like it doesn't always boot, or is extremely slow to boot.  Have you had any such problems?

Cheers.

I got the laptop with Windows 7 already installed from Dell. I used to have problems with freezing, a few times during boot up. I have since used a different sata driver and haven't any problems. It should load up fairly quickly.

you may have just become my saving grace, you don't happen to remember what new driver you tried or where  you got it.

Thanks.

I not not using the Nvidia driver. I went to device manager-> IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. Right click on nForce and select update drivers. I used the Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller.
