Precision 690 adding dual layer DVD/CD burner?
I have a Precision 690 with three (3) SATA HDD, one (1) DVD/CD ROM IDE, one (1) DVD/CD RW IDE.
I need to replace the DVD/CD RW with a newer dual layer, but cannot find IDE interface. Can I add a SATA dual layer drive?

Yes, providing there's a open SATA connector on the motherboard
After installing the optical drive, remember to check the system setup, to see that the SATA port it's connected to, is enabled [on].
