new power supply 435t and nvidia 285

hi,

I have a dell 435t computer, and want to install a nvidia 285 2 gig video card, I know i need to upgrade the PS, my warrenity runs out in a few months, any suggestions?

manufactures? who to get who to avoid? I am thinking about maybe in the 650-700W range and modular to cut down on cable clutter.

Also has anyone else put a 285 in the  435t?

Thank you

For a manufacturer I would recommend PC Power & Cooling they are quiet and their quality and consistency are the best, Dell sells them but you can find out more info on PC Power & Cooling 's web site.

Mad Hobbit

Most generic standard ATX power supply units, with either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard power and EPS/ATX12V 8-pin connectors, with or without the on/off switch.

You should be able to buy a compatible power supply from either a local or online computer store.

Note: A power supply with five SATA power connectors, is needed.
