Hi Rah335,

Are you using an HDCP-compliant monitor?

This is not Dell's fault, or Microsoft, or Cyberlink. It's an HDCP issue.

using a Dell XPS 8100 with ATI Radeon HD 5700 card (DVI connection to monitor).

Power DVD DX was delivered with my system, including my blu-ray drive.  (version 8.3.1.6107 and the latest drivers)

when i go to play a blu-ray disc, i get a protected content error message, telling me to use an analog output.  I neither have nor want an analog output with this card.

Bottom line is I need to figure out how to play blu-rays using the delivered s/w and the DVI connection.

Can you make sure that you have the Power DVD Ultra version on your system, as this is the only version of Power DVD that will work with Blu-ray.
