This is the second time I am experiencing this. My dell laptop connects to the wireless network but won't connect to Internet? Any suggestions?

mislal,
Make and model of your computer and operating system? 32-bit or 64-bit?
What virus program and firewall are you using?
Can you run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.

mislal,
Can you connect when you're next to the wireless router? What happens when you go to the next room?
Try reading...
Intel® WiFi Products — Power Save Polling (PSP) causes connection issues with some access points
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Create a Power Plan
Select High performance.
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
While you in the device manager, look to see if this adapter has Antenna Diversity. Some adapters have this and some don't. If your adapter has Antenna Diversity, try changing it from Auto to Aux. Can you please let me know if this adapter has antenna diversity(Thanks)
This states it's for printers but it gets you to McAfee's firewall. Allow a printer past McAfee Make sure you're allowed past the firewall.

Welcome, daisyjara :emotion-15:
I am hoping that you can give us some additional information.
1. Exactly what is the error that you are seeing?
2. Is this happening for all internet sites? All browsers?
3. What type of security are you using?
