Yes. it *should* just work; but it didn't hence my posting here :). initially tried to clone my existing HDD, that turned out to be a miserable experience. Eventually gave p and do a clean install. First of all, the windows 7 installer does not recognize the drive, so you have to fix that by activating the drive. Once I got windows 7 on i had to manually copy over network driver to get it on wireless. Then, i downloaded video driver, but it refuses to install.

I don't get it. You just replaced your HDD to SSD, right? It should work..
