Dell 2150CDN Color Stripes

We have two Dell 2150CDNs that we've had for about 8 months or so at this point.  One of the units occasionally starts printing colored lines over the desired document.  For example:

After running all 3 routine maintenance tasks (Clean developer, refresh toner, refresh drum) the problem normally disappers for a while and will then come back.  As I said above, we've only had issues with one of the machines doing this.  None of us are very familiar with laser printers and how to diagnose them.  What would cause the printer to do this?

Thanks!

I just did a "drum refresh" from the maintenance menu on the printer and the color bars are gone!

Is there a solution for this problem? We have currently exact the same problem with our Dell 2150cdn printer. Probably about the same age.

Doing a clean developer did solve our problem, but a permanent fix would be appreciated.

The problem was traced to the router. The printer's test page will print normally without stripes. Unplugging the router, waiting and then plugging it back in fixed the problem. The explanation is not available

This is odd. My printer does it on the color test page directly from printer. Doesn't seem to have an external influence...
