Hi Xmlwave, Jump over to PC World`s March issue, maybe February, they had an article on steps to reduce noise and such. Some Members have removed the green tabs and installed the "old" set screws.

I might follow your suggestion of getting rid of those rails. I will give it a try over the weekend and see if it will work. Do you know where I can get screws for the drives? There is a MicroCenter nearby, but I am not sure if they'll have them there.
