It could be annoying when the DVD’s fail to play. To provide a resolution to this issue, please reply to this message with the requested information:

1. The system model (E.g. XPS 8500):
2. Error message if any while trying to play DVDs:
3. Version of Windows (E.g. Windows 7 64-bit):
4. The application that you use to play DVDs (E.g. PowerDVD)

i have a inspiron 1545 windows vista and the model no is <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> and there is no error message cant play cds or dvds and i cant reinstall the driver

I can't play dvds either.  Can't reinstall driver...can't find it on dell.com.  I have a Dell with windows 7...64 bit. help
