It seems that the hard drive is not working properly.
I would recommend you to perform a Pre Boot System Assessment (PSA Diagnostics). To launch PSA diagnostics, please press and hold “Fn” key while turning on the system. Hold it down until the diagnostic starts. For more information click the link mentioned below:

Let me know if there is any error during the test on hard drive. If there is no error code, hard drive is functioning properly and you don't have to worry.
I would suggest you to backup all the important data. If the system is under warranty, send me the service tag and name listed on the account in a private message so that I can help you further.
hii...done the scan in pc checkup....n i already have a latest version of dell support centre...i scanned throught that...after the scan i got a error same as above i.e,,target read test-module failed to start...for ur info iam pasting screen shot of that scan below..
The error message indicates bad sectors on your hard drive. I would suggest having the data backed up as the hard drive might go bad anytime. Please run the diagnostics by tapping F12 at the Dell logo splash screen to enter the boot menu select Diagnostics from the boot menu or follow this link. Also take a snapshot of the error message
You need to replace your hard drive. Since I don't know where you are, I can't tell you the cost but any standard SATA laptop drive will work in Dell laptops.

Hi,
I also have a similar issue, the error from diagnostics is attached as a pic.
I want to get the hard-drive replaced and am not under warranty right now.
I need to know the expense I might incur.
Also I wish to get it done as soon as possible.
