Any 3rd party chargers work for a Dell Inspiron 15r N5110? Backlit keyboard/keypads, or other enhancements?

Over the years I have learned to have a spare laptop charger, just in case. I have a Dell Inspiron 15r N5110. Just acquired it. Bios A11 8/3/2012, SMBIOS 2.6, from System Information. Works fine with Dell JU012, ADP-130DB B, PA-4E Family, DA130PE1-00 charger. Upon reboot, bios recognizes a 130W charger (I think it only said 130W on the "blue screen" BIOS window.

However, when I plug in my not so old targus apa63us (?02) (90W output max) or antec np90 (output W max not on the "brick") with what appear to be proper fitting plugs, no charger is recognized on the BIOS screen. The targus and antec maintain power to the computer, but do NOT charge the battery beyond its current level (tested at 74%), although the battery charge % is maintained.  When I use the Targus or Antec, a dialog box now pops up (AS Adapter Warning" , "AC Power Adapter type cannot be determined" - did not happen the first few times of use) asking me to use a 130W charger. (Also, the computer screen window changes it's setting to "Basic", and I do not know why nor how to stop that from happening - maybe I am using Aero when plugged in).

The Dell "brick" is 2x the size and heavier than the others. It would be nice to travel with a lighter charger device. I would also prefer not to have spend a lot of money on a Dell charger.

The Antec is great because it has a right angle prong. The Dell charger plug is at the left and in back, So you get stabbed by the protruding charger cable when working on the Dell in bed. It is also leading the Dell charger cable to bend near the tip, but similar to the bends in any folded up charger.

Some postings mentioned that Dell might have a special chip in their chargers. Thus, a 3rd party solution might not work.

FWIW, I am also looking for a backlit keyboard / keypad too.

Any other suggested ehnacements? I have i7 2670, 8GB RAM, 1 TB 5400 HD. ?HD ?3000/HD/?4000 and NVIDIA Geforce GT 525M Graphics (no idea of  which intel series graphic card is part of my graphics duopoly - HD,  HD3000, or  HD4000).

Any suggestions appreciated.

Make sure the chargers you're trying match the wattage, voltage, and amperage of the original Dell one you're trying to replace.

Check out this link just to get you in the game of Dell chargers

It is a different Model but the problem seems to be somewhat universal.
