The webcam drivers are just Windows native drivers. You could attempt to re-install the driver by right clicking on Integrated Webcam and choose update driver > Search Automatically for updated driver software.
or
Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers > Uninstall USB Composite Device. Reboot laptop and allow Windows to re-install driver.
Could you check in Device Manager and confirm if webcam is listed under Imaging Device? Do you get this error with all the video chat application(example Skype) or just the Webcam Central which came preinstalled with system?
May I know the Windows version installed on your system?
It could be a loose webcam cable connection.Open Device Manager on your screen and gently press on the back of the Webcam(back of the LCD panel where the Webcam is located) and check if Webcam gets detected in Device Manager when you press it.
Also private message me your system Service Tag number. To private message click on my user name and click start conversation.
i have the same problem with my system !! when is tried to update the driver through the device manager, it said it was up to date. then i disabled the driver and again re-enabled it, then it showed me a error message like this.....
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
The I/O device is configured incorrectly or the configuration parameters to the driver are incorrect.
plz do tell me a solution as soon as possible.......
thank you harish !! but i believe that, the driver you told me to download is for the windows 7 OS where as my PC is working on Windows 8. plz do suggest a solution as soon as possible !!

I didn't find it in Device Manager. Video Calls on Skype weren't available in the options. And the Windows version installed on my pc is Windows 8.

Hi Ravii,
Please download the webcam application from the below link and keep us posted with the outcome. Also attach a snapshot of the device manager.

Because the USB Composite Device is the USB interface for the webcam. Uninstall both and Reboot
