XPS 8700 Specifications is a Blank PDF, following link for Manuals & Documentation

A disappointment and inconvenience on the XPS 8700 Manual and Documentation page: http://dell.to/10AzZux  is that the 'Specifications' link yields a blank PDF.
I hope someone at Dell will fix this.

Thank you all for responding -- The advice to update browser and Adobe Flash may have been right on.

However, an earlier statement, on Desktop Video Forum, whose non-8700 URL eludes me as I write, was to use only  'Internet Explorer'.    Sorry to not to give direct credit to that Dell employee.

Recalling their advice, I used IE on a Win-XP Laptop,    IT WORKED!!!!

(IE version 8.0.6001.18.702).

Firefox & Chrome on the same Win-XP Laptop did NOT display 'Specifications' correctly, but as a blank PDF page.

Unlike the other manuals, which are PDF-files, on the XPS 8700 Manual and Documentation page: http://dell.to/10AzZux  or www.dell.com/.../xps-8700,  the 'Specifications' are a web-page with a collection of links to distinct component spec pages, selected & displayed as separate web-pages.

The OS from which I reported the problem had been Linux Ubuntu 10,04.4 with browsers Firefox and Chrome.

On the Win-XP Laptop, browsers Firefox and Chrome again displayed the XPS 8700 Specifications as a blank PDF-page.

The likely answer is, I think, to use Internet Explorer to look at the XPS 8700 Specifications.

Thank you for your recommendations.  Next time, I'll be more specific as to Machine, OS, & Browser.

For now, I want to get on to ordering an XPS 8700.

Try

ftp.dell.com/.../xps-8700_Reference%20Guide_en-us.pdf

There are 2 versions of flash that must be installed and your browsers must be closed.

The  flashplayer11_8r800_94_winax.exe is for IE

The flashplayer11_8r800_94_win.exe is for Firefox.

(Released 7/9/2013) Flash Player 11.8.800.94 (159.9 MB)

DELL-Appu S  thank you for providing the clue, the answer, to my problem with accessing 8700 specifications with browsers other than Internet Explorer.

I went back through Hardware Video Forum postings until I found your comments "Posted by DELL-Appu S replied on 08-05-2013 3:20 P:M."    en.community.dell.com/.../19519898.aspx ,   containing

"Please refer to the following link http://dell.to/13I4GKa and click on Specifications. Please use Internet Explorer only."

Again, Thank You
